Am not seeing the artifacts mentioned in the F40 update https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-642b5afe1a , even though browser.display.use_system_colors is set to true by default.
@markec: Can you check if you see the artifacts described in the F40 update if your setting for browser.display.use_system_colors is true (which it should now be by default)?
@fx136: Are you seeing the same artifacts? I'm not seeing them in the corresponding F41 update https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-f3e353ce04 , though the default setting for browser.display.use_system_colors has changed from false to true there as well.
I checked out the negative karma for the corresponding F40 update ( https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-642b5afe1a ) and though I can confirm that going from 136.0.1 to 136.0.2 the default setting for browser.display.use_system_colors has changed from false to true, I'm not seeing the artifacts described in the BBC pages mentioned. Giving +1.
Firefox 136.0.2 was released today. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/136.0.2/releasenotes/
I posted my output at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2350327#c10 (got "Error loading preview" when trying to emulate @thesourcehim's syntax here).
Am affected by #2350327 (Segfault during grub2-mkconfig) after upgrading to this version. This is an old BIOS machine dual booting Windows 10/Fedora 41.
bump
Firefox 135.0.1 was released today. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/135.0.1/releasenotes/
It should say "Reboot Required", not "Logout Required", correct?
Firefox 134.0.2 was released today: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/134.0.2/releasenotes/
Confirmed that default setting for browser.display.use_system_colors is false again (though I never saw the artifacts on the BBC pages).
