Found some improvements in terminal while appfinder hasn't changed much.
Works with my 3 machines with Ryzen 3 3200G, Core i3-6006U and Core i5-750 & Radeon HD6450.
Works with my remaining F37 instances (BIOS and UEFI with grub2).
Works for me (BIOS and UEFI with grub2, various disk layouts). No issues besides the known fact that Secure Boot must be disabled.
@besser82: Thanks for the hints, but I was aware that the interface between both AusweisApp2 instances has changed and also updated the Android app to the latest version (1.26.7 as of today). I also deleted and recreated the pairing to be sure. Using Windows on the same laptop the PIN can also be successfully entered at the Windows machine.
No big deal for me as I usually prefer the USB card reader but I mentioned this for completeness.
Works for me with "standard" USB card reader and smart phone if PIN is entered at phone.
Attempts to enter PIN at Fedora host result in "Maintain_Card_Connection_Pace_Unrecoverable; Card_Return_Code: PROTOCOL_ERROR". Same with current stable version 1.26.5 although I remember this configuration to work with an earlier version.
Great new features. Once in a while I'd like to combine smaller scans to a single A4 page without using unfamiliar and complicated drawing programs. As a minor issue German translations for "Merge Pages...", "Paste as Overlay..." and "Paste as Underlay..." are not yet available.
Looks and works pretty much the same as previous version.
Seems to work for me. The sporadic boot failures observed with 6.3.9 and 6.3.10 on my Ryzen 3 3200G machine have not occurred so far, but this could be mere luck as the possible root cause is not yet fixed.
Works fine at first glance with my 3 machines, but similar to previous candidate 6.3.9 the boot process fails now and then on my main machine with Ryzen 3 3200G at varying stages and with various symptoms (systemd messages get stuck, screen becomes black, kernel oops displayed).
If the problem occurs late enough, error messages like "kernel: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000010" can be found in the journal. If boot finishes successfully the machine continues to work normally.
Works with my remaining F37 installations (BIOS&UEFI). Many thanks for all the effort.
Works for me with BIOS&UEFI and various disk configurations with grub2 (sd-boot with loader entries on ESP not tested).
Works on my 3 machines with Ryzen 3 3200G, Core i3-6006U and Core i5-750 & Radeon HD6450. Default and Performance regression tests passed.
Works as expected and installs python3-psutil if not already present. Thank you.
A closer look at panelconfig.py shows that psutil is indeed used, at least in some cases. Therefore package python3-psutil should be added as dependency.
Does not start, but complains about missing module psutil referenced in file /usr/share/xfce4-panel-profiles/xfce4-panel-profiles/panelconfig.py.
Commenting out "import psutil" in line 19 seems to fix the issue and I wonder how it got there as psutil is described as "Cross-platform lib for process and system monitoring in Python".
Glad to have AusweisApp2 working again, but I also wonder whether this package could be constructed in a way that doesn't require rebuilds after minor Qt6 version updates.
Works for me, too. As a notable change xfce4-panel no longer crashes when the "about" or "settings" dialogue is closed.
Works with my 3 x86_64 machines (ext4 only). Default and Performance regression tests passed.
Looks like a minor update, even the copyright year has not changed ;-)
