If this waits for the lift on the freeze, doesn't that mean BZ#2170682 will be in the beta compose? I think it is very unfortunate that icons will be missing in the menus out of the box. I believe this really needs to be a freeze exception.
Fixes the issue I was having which was BZ#2164752.
Still suffering from BZ#2175351.
Seems to be working well.
OK created a new VM from Fedora-Xfce-Live-x86_64-38-20230219.n.0.iso and confirmed the icons were missing, then updated with this bundle, logged out and back in again, and the icons were back.
This bundle seems to all work OK, including the media player, but to validate my BZ#2170682 I'll need to test a fresh install and apply the update since I've already manually "fixed" all my instances (38 and also Rawhide).
Ideally this fix set needs to bypass the freeze.
This seems to be working fine.
Working for me.
Working fine in a VM, multimedia still working.
Works in a VirtualBox VM and on bare metal. I'm not seeing the dmesg issues reported by others on 14.

Seems to be working fine in a VirtualBox VM, timer-overhead is failing, but that's common in VB.
