Works on HP Envy x360 Ryzen 2500u 15-cp0xxx aside known issue from upstream like missing gyroscope driver for screen autorotation and BIOS bug from HP vendor

You are very welcome @basilrabi. Glad to help.

@basilrabi I am unable to reproduce the failure above

blender
Read prefs: /home/luya/.config/blender/2.79/config/userpref.blend

Would you either reinstall alembic-libs or backup your blender preference and clean install blender to see if that resolve the issue?

karma

Working fine aside known upstream issues on HP Envy x360 Ryzen 2500u

karma

Works on HP Envy x360 cp0xxx Ryzen 2500u. Only unresolved upstream issue is missing autorotate screen driver and HP related ACPI.

karma

Running well on HP Envy x360 Ryzen 2500U. Some upstream issues such as missing sensor driver and ACPI traceback still remain unsolved.

Forgot too add karma.

Running well on HP Envy x360 Ryzen 2500U. Still missing functional autororate driver for the hardware.

karma

Works fine on HP Envy x360 15-cp0xxx. Only unsolved upstream problems are missing driver for the integrated sensor fusion hub and ACPI Error Method parse.

karma

Word as intended on HP Envy x360 15 cp0xxx Ryzen 2500U. Only left unresolved upstream issues are the lack of driver for AMD Integrated Sensor Fusion HUB as found on AMD Raven Ridge #1651886 and minor ACPI traceback for HP laptops kernel#201981 indirectly impacting some Fn light status.

Tested on HP Envy x360 15-cp0xxx Ryzen 2500U. No sign of regression.

Touchscreen and stylus finally works on HP Envy Ryzen 2500U

BZ#1644013 Touchscreen function for HP laptop with AMD processors broken on all kernel version

@pbrobinson Thank for the update. I'll try it when available.

karma

This update performed well on HP Envy x360 Ryzen 2500U. The reason for -1 karma to generally function is due to the broken touchscreen function on all kernel version caused by a misconfigured ACPI table affecting all AMD powered HP touchscreen laptops. Revealing errors highlights:

A patch which needed refinement were submitted to upstream bug report but no maintainers took a look yet for a least testing.
