my mouse, touchpad and trackpoint work fine
the recent regression is fixed. I'll provide an overall karma after I run it for a while
I can confirm @freddyw's findings. With this update I can no longer use my external display with my Thinkpad T480s laptop. I'll add more details to the linked bug report. Please do not push.
