My Thinkpad T480s laptop with GNOME works fine, but I don't really know how to test this more closely.
I have no fw updates pending, so I could only test actions like get-devices
and get-history
. Those work. I updated some fw recently, but I don't know if this particular fwupd version was used. And quite interestingly, get-history
doesn't show you DATES when the fw upgrades were performed (wat?). So I can't tell whether I used this fwupd version or an older one.
I haven't noticed any regressions with vim
I tested polkit dialogs with gnome-control-center and they work fine
I haven't tested modifying operations with LVM, but unlocking and using my system with LVM+LUKS works as expected
koji download-build
works as expected
gimp, hexchat, zim seem to show up and work fine
I tested it in a local taskotron deployment, seems to work fine
I don't see any issues with system icons
PK no longer crashes when modular repos are disabled
I've run dracut -f
, rebooted, and unlocked my disks during boot just fine
I only use koji download-build
and that works fine
I can see my crashes and interact with them
I opened up a few random page, they rendered fine.

My bluetooth mouse works. I also tried to transfer file to my phone, and that was awfully slow, but that might be expected (I really don't know how fast that should run).
tested with a local taskotron deployment, worked fine
Editing files work, saving works, syntax highlighting works.
I can confirm the error from @clnetbox and have reported a bug here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1773175
