I'm not sure how exactly to test this. But browsing through gnome-software shows screenshots and descriptions of applications just fine.
Installations work in general. I haven't tested bug 1823011 yet, though.

I had to type in password again in the configuration, but that might have been broken for some time, I don't know. Once I did, everything works fine, I'm notified on new emails.
