no regressions in Workstation
I haven't noticed any regressions in my GNOME
my VMs boot in virt-manager
no issues in a daily Workstation usage
no issues when working in it
When upgrading from wine-core-9.15-1.fc40.x86_64
to wine-core-10.0-0.2rc1.fc40.x86_64
(which seems to be the updated version), the error is still there:
dnf-3[935]: Running scriptlet: wine-core-10.0-0.2rc1.fc40.x86_64 462/462
dnf-3[935]: failed to link /usr/lib64/wine/x86_64-windows/d3d8.dll -> /etc/alternatives/wine-d3d8(x86-64): /usr/lib64/wine/x86_64-windows/d3d8.dll exists and it is not a symlink
no issues in a daily usage
my UEFI VMs boot fine
no issues in a daily desktop usage
no issues in a daily usage
works fine in a general daily usage
printing works fine
tested on my home dir, shows dir sizes as expected
works fine on Thinkpad P1 Gen4
Well given that I've seen no negative issues, I guess there's no harm to revert it.
Hmm, I didn't realize before, but I have selinux=0
in boot params on that machine. Maybe the error could be related to a disabled selinux?
@lsm5 The previous version was container-selinux-2:2.233.0-1.fc40.noarch
.
I can print on my network printer
I can see my transactions and add new ones
