Latency reporting in Jack is much better: Jamulus now correctly reports the changes to the latency when the buffer size is modified via Ardour.

However, the latency reported in applications still seems to depend on what the buffer size is set to when an application is started initially. E.g. the reported latency is higher when I start Jamulus with the buffer in Ardour set to 512 and then lower it to 64, than when I start the application with the buffer set to 128 to then lower it to 64, which makes me think there is either a hidden buffer somewhere or the reported latency is not entirely correct yet (I suspect the latter because the latency sounds the same).

Ah, sorry. The new latency reporting doesn't seem to take into account when the Jack frame size is changed dynamically via dbus (I use Ardour). When changing it before launching new applications, they do see the (supposedly) correct latency (~10ms). Great release so far.

Fixes Jack issues introduced in 0.3.29.

Ardour and qjackctl now function properly. It seems very stable so far. Only thing that appears off is the Jack latency reporting, especially when using Jamulus after Ardour. (Connected locally at ~60ms with a frame size of 64 is high, without Ardour it is ~20ms where it should be and sounds like ~10ms. With pipewire-jack-audio-connection-kit-0.3.28-1 it reports ~10ms.)

Jack has become unusable for me. Qjackctl and Ardour crash all the time instead of ardour just crashing now and then. Had to downgrade jack-audio-connection-kit to 0.3.28-1.

va-api working great now (on amdgpu avc is fine and no corruption anymore for vp9 when skipping through videos or when changing resolution). Very impressive!

va-api appears to work fine with amdgpu (obviously with the required env vars and about:config settings). There was one occasion of video corruption when skipping through a video, which was solved by reloading the page. The very first frame or still also looks a bit lower in quality (interlaced?) than when the video is playing.

Seems to work fine.

However, the experimental GTK3 theming breaks Medieval CUE splitter (the split! button is missing when this staging feature is enabled).
