Thanks for this feedback David, I'm curious if the 1.92-2 build could work for you with Wayland as someone gave positive feedback exactly on the middle clicking topic here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-bd14a158cd.
Otherwise we'll have to backport the patch from upstream which could probably fix the issue, just for completeness the links:

Please note this update fixes serious issues with the interaction of Geany and Geany-Plugins, which have been reported at least here:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1276076
If you want to see the mess with Geany and Geany Plugins with GTK3, please check Rawhide.
Geany Plugins is not yet GTK3 compataible at all. Thus over the half of the Geany-Plugins is just not usable with GTK3. Please explain why making Geany-Plugins usable again is a step backwards then?
The fix is available as an update at https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/geany-plugins-1.25-3.fc22. I appreciate any feedback on that update.
Hi Michael, thanks very much for reporting this, although most likely some updates crashed already. I'm sorry for that. Can you confirm this build fixes this?

Thanks very much for the testing and the feedback on this. The new build should fix the issue with unrelated devel packages. GTK3 builds will be available for Rawhide and F23 only - you may pull a package from Koji at your own risk.

Just wanted to give positive Karma on this, because this versions is working fine for me as well. The click on "Mark as stable was a kind of habit, but the effect, obviously, will be the sameâ¦
