According to https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/issues/203#issuecomment-438192757 this release should fix bug #1487701
I run fedora 28, the extension https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/615/appindicator-support/ and on a xwayland session running nextcloud
does not open a settings window. from ps aux | grep nextcloud
I see that nextcloud is running, but without any GUI showing up.
I only see a Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
Setting export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland
and running nextcloud
again will show an additional line QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread
.
Thanks for your effort to fix this issue.
Works for me
Спасибо за починку https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1650970!
Works great on a regular computer, but is crashing on a VirtualBox VM. I'm not sure what I need to do to help.
